Subject: Re: Anybody else out there planting wheat into dust?

After getting 5 inches of rain between April 1 and Sept 10 we have gotten over 11" of rain in the past three weeks, 3 1/2" just this week. I was able to mudd in my wheat but have heard that it is not a good idea. What does a guy do? I had to chop corn silage to plant the wheat and then got consistanly rained out till and finally fished it thursday and watched it rain all day friday. This is about two weeks past our recomended planting dates. We have had an unusually warm fall so we'll have to see what happens.
