After about 22 hours the water is crystal clear, with no signs of any Clay dispersion. So according to the test web page I should have no response to the addition of Gypsum to the soil. I'm still going to try a small test plot but my expectations have been lowered. And it looks like I'll have a lot more reading to do to get my head around this soil chemistry thing.
