Bob, do your homework.   Pop always said "a fool and his money are soon parted," and I think Kansas esp SW could do a pretty good job of it on a cornbelt guy. 

You need to learn about water rights, seniority of same, interstate compacts, water depth, sand, wind, hail, tornadoes (well, not so much, but that's what everyone thinks of) and a whole lot of other things including spanish.
