Looks like an avg of 87 dollars. But this will vary greatly on a number of different things, such as amount of water, who owns the sprinklers, pump etc.
A majority of the cropland (both irrigated and dryland) in my area is cropshare ( 1/3, 2/3).
Yes this is the Ogallala aquifer and yes it is a current and future problem as is the cost to pump the water. The wells in my area area are 400 to 600 feet. | |
