it depend on size I guess....we use to use them when we were storage poor and the old farmstead we were at had them I think there were 3 low 250's(bbls) and maybe a 400bbl...all bolted...the tall had the flat top and the short had some homemade wooden cone roofs....I hated them because of no cement floor, just tar paper and plastic or the steel bottom...and the doors were homemade...I would think welded stock tanks with some retrofitted conventional bin doors would be ok...you just have to be care full when you fill them up with the flat roof...there are quite a few different setups in our area but none with a 45 angle....the history with bolted stock tanks is they leak more with age...
