Baldwin City, KS | The Golden Harvest territory guy would like for my brother and I to become dealers. We were mostly Pioneer this year, but planted a few bags of a couple of their corn numbers and a few NK beans that they gave us to try. I was pretty impressed with the corn, even though big P has them beat on the TW, those were big ears and good standing plants. As for the beans, it was a crappy bean year around here, and the beans they gave us probably were'nt the one for where they were planted, so I have no opinion.
I'm not in any big hurry to become a dealer, but I am taking a little time to weigh the benefits if there are any to being a seed dealer in relation to saving money on inputs.
I'm just wondering what experiences you have had with Golden Harvest and their products. Any unbiased feedback would be greatly appreciated. | |
