My family also has some muck ground. It's very frustrating at times. We have had a great deal of success doing all of our tillage in the fall usually chisel and then disc once. In the spring we spray with generic round-up and 2-4D. Apply some NH3 and plant. It has really helped our corn stand. Beans seem better too.
