Depends on the stage of maturity on the ear rots. I had 2 river bottoms to go under water around the first of Sept. back in '79, it did not wash it down or break it over, this was in full dent and nearly ready to shell. It was dirty running the combine through it, but we didn't have any damaged grain, and these bottoms were flooded twice in a 2 week period.
