I had some nearly ripe corn get flooded one year around the 1st of Sept. All you could see in that field was the tassels sticking out of the water! Don't remember how long it was under, but there was no significant damage. I might add that this was in a backwater area with little or no flow. Worst thing was the dirt/dust when I combined it..... NASTY!
