While I agree that the original poster is to be thanked for his work in both doing the plot & sharing the information, I have to wonder where your idea of negativity in the replys came in. I went back re-read my own & the others & think I must have missed something. While opportunity was certainly there for negative remarks, I don't think anyone took advantage of them. Did someone edit something you saw earlier? I generally assume that when someone creates a thread, they do so to get replies so that all may learn from the discussion. I do know it's true that some are afraid to make posts due to what may be said later. I know the biggest fear I'd have in jumping out of an airplane is the possible negative results, so I don't do that. Thankfully, replying to threads is a lesser level of danger. I've been 'attacked' a whole bunch of times, almost always annonymously & never once have the consequences been anything I couldn't live with... |
