So many times, I've planted something that did well in a plot(s) one year, only to have it go TU the next year. You can define varieties capabilities, but you can't predict weather.

I don't think it's any great soothsaying to predict that we're going to have HUGE variations in varieties this year. While I doubt that planting the ones at the bottom another year would be prudent, planting the whole farm to the few ones that do well could be just as catastrophic - if not moreso...
