If it indeed holds 4 million bushels and costs $7 Million to build that is $1.75/bu. What do the big bins (250,000 bu and up) cost? I would think that it would be far easier to keep grain in condition in a bin. Also the labor involved in loading grain out would be much less with the bins and with big fans the corn can go into the bins a little bit wetter than in flat storage.
