NC | best way to avoid Mycoplasma is for the cattle to never get sick in the first place-
I have tried everything over the years- and now we just treat them twice and turn them out to do what they can-- and its never much.
I just cringe when I see the first swollen joint.
You can treat every sick calf like it might get Mycoplasma afterwards(treat for 20 days) and get a handle on it- and get good results- but if you have many you will go broke doing it.And way more than half of them got treated 20 days for nothing.
