So my question is to all the folks that have straight bred calves along with F1 calves, can you tell the difference in health between your F1's and your straightbred calves? Do your straightbreds get sick more often than their F1 siblings?

That's what my herd is, purebreds running together with halfbloods. The cows are all purebreds but 75% of the calves are purebred and 25% halfblood. I've never thought of it before but off the top of my head I can't think of any halfbloods I've lost to scours but I can think of plenty purebreds. I'll have to research my records back a few years and get back to you.
