I never tryed planting alice or durana or any of the white clovers. But I tryed helping my friends grow some. It never seemed to perform compared to cost. I lean toward a pound or so of red clover scattered with an old pot spreader. I grew a couple different clovers for seed production , but my favorite scattering red clover is Cinnamon-Plus
