Christopher I see you are west of Abilene,Tx I assume you winter is milder there than where I live. If you are going to graze out your wheat the cattle will really pack on the pounds from Feb. onto graze out time. I usually ship my cattle middle of March. I have grazed out some wheat and can get around 3 lbs average gain a day.it might be better in your area.
