Faunsdale, AL | Get your vet to pull blood and have titers done to check for Leptospirosis, BVD etc. Most labs have an "abortion" profile they run. It would be unusual to make a diagnosis from a single blood sample, but still it's good information to have along with the vaccination history and results of other testing.
Also might want to take mucus samples for trichomoniasis and maybe vibrio at the same time as testing the bulls. Bulls are going to be the best place to find that if you have it, but if you find cows with cervical inflamation and pus, you might get something out of it.
In reality, you could be seeing the effects of a nutritional problem which happened a while back, before breeding season even. | |
