My two cents... Manual I would go in this order sioux steel/stampede steel, Pearson, then powder river. For hydraulic I would go straight for the silencer or a hydraulic Pearson. I would recommend a auto head gate because you can always catch with one of them manually but a manual can't go automatic. I would stay away from a chute that squeezes from one side. If I were to buy a chute tomorrow I would get a Sioux steel. I like their design and I believe it is the best bang for your buck. Also if you are getting a set of load bars we bought some off of eBay from a guy in New Mexico called b and b scales. They were cheap, basic, and they have worked well.
