Eastern Iowa
I saw the new Stronghold manual models at the Iowa State Fair this summer. I was very impressed. Ease of adjustment for animals of all sizes and quiet operation. A pump bar (hydraulic assist) on both the neck bar and side squeeze were pretty cool, and the elevator style rear doors, too. I want one pretty bad, but the old, worn out Formost will have to do for a while. It was a nice machine but $8500 is a lot for the number of animals I would have to put through it. Might need to find somebody to go in on one with.
