Western Nebraska | when i am weighing cattle the entire chute is a half inch off of the floor. The load cells are above the chute. The load cells are attatched to the main overhead frame, and the other end of the cell is attatched top the chute via heavy log chain. In weigh mode the chute is hanging touching nothing but the chain. It can go for and back about a quarter inch without hitting the outer frame. Its nice not to have the cells and the scale wires around the floor. Seems down there they were always dirty and get manure and junk around them making clean up and maintenance a mess. When not wanting to weigh the cattle i just set it on the floor by using the lever. The way i have the chute set up it weighs 3800lbs. | |
