I don’t know what she is asking for a price, but it sounds like an older horse to me. At an older age I’ve drawn the conclusion the horse’s stomach walls harden or caulis and are unable to absorb proper nutrients or digestion is slowed. I think you might be setting your self up for a future of nursing care and a big heart break when you purchase an old horse. As cool said there a lot of horse’s out there for sale, and right now the market is in the tank. A well proven, well trained one is worth a Decent price. I just bought a well broke 6 yr old gelding, Trail riding and cow checking type for $500 I wish you and your daughter the best. Make sure she rides’em before you buy’em Horse’s are like shoes, you just know when they fit right :>) JMHO |
