| It's getting close to time for me to break down and buy a horse for my daughter. Looking at a quarter horse this weekend and lady says it needs some grain to keep weight on. I'm assuming she's feeding it a bagged sweet feed. What can horses eat? I have corn, barley, wheat, milo, and soybean meal in bulk on the farm and a grinder mixer with scales. I hate to buy high priced bagged feed when my grain in the bins is getting cheaper every day. | |
