Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | I know the operation. Heard the guy talk a little once, regarding labor and machinery management, hay prices etc. Thought it was pretty relevant and funny for a while, then realized it was maybe a bit arrogant. He sells to a lot different market than we do, he's kind of a volume hay producer. Its actually an interesting operation, I know a guy who helped develop it. Was all sagebrush flats, they cleared it all and drilled wells, put pivots on several thousand acres. Supposed to be a real good groundwater area.
Redding really isn't that far. I went to college for a while there, just a little over 2 hrs away. 150 miles I think. Considering we drive 50 miles to the grocery store, it isn't bad. | |
