Columbia City, Indiana | My cattle are at my grandparents. Sometimes my mom and her mother don't get along so great. (Grandma has that effect on about everyone who knows her. Not the greatest personality if you know what I mean.) Anyway, mom calls me one night 5 or 6 years ago at about 10 pm. She starts in on a rant about how crazy Grandma is, and after about 2 minutes of that she goes "Oh, your cows are out." I live 10 miles away, so it was a rodeo but we got it done. All I could think was why she felt the need to rant before informing me matter of factly about the cows, which was the whole reason Granda had called her and flipped out after the neighbor called them and said he saw some Herefords in the cemetary down the road. Why Grandma didn't just call me I'll never know... FEMALES causing trouble, lol! | |
