Eastern Half of Kansas | How did it work out this spring, I think Scott was on here during calving season and had AI'd and sync'd all the cows and they were calving in 10 degree weather, and had like 20-30 calves dropping a day. How did that turn out?
I've been the black baldy route bought a set of F-1's from a producer, I think he had hereford based cows. Thought we really had something. 3-4 years later bought another set from him. After only a couple of years these second set of hiefers, now 4 year olds started delevoping the hereford udders, many of those cows didn't make it past 5-7 years. First set of heifers lasted much longer for some reason. | |
