Subject: hog barns

Central Iowa
Been thinking about building a hog barn in the future. It seems to me custom feeding hogs could be a good way to improve cash flow and help build equity. I am just trying to get an idea of all the costs involved with putting up a finisher. Obviously concrete, equipment and labor to construct the barn, but what other costs are involved? How much has to be paid up front? For those of you who have put up buildings, were you required to make a down payment or did you finance 100%? I am a young farmer with a lot of ambition, but not a whole lot of equity built up to pay very much up front. I would do all the work besides hiring someone to help sort/load. What I had in mind was a 1200 head finisher. Will these buildings cash flow and be a nice source of income? The numbers I have run seem to look pretty good, but I know I'm leaving out some costs.
Thanks,
Bryce
