I'm starting to agree with those who say they have trouble figuring out what you're talking about. It is not a wide spread problem. No we do not have a large urban tax base, this county is very rural with most of the population involved with ag. The cost of digging ditches out is only incurred when they need fill dirt somewhere nearby. They don't usually make a habit of hauling dirt very far, if they need some they find a ditch nearby that could use a little cleaning done, walla now they have fill dirt. You're trying to make this into an issue bigger than it is to justify your belief that fences have value on every farm, which is clearly not true. |
