SC North Dakota | Where you located. Hang in there. I know the battle. Cool but no rain or snow so far. Without four wheeler and fwd on the tractor I'd be lost. Don't think a horse would do much in the mud. Hopefully if it drys off I can move the herd to some dry pasture.. No help to be found. Almost half done but has been worst year for calving. Have less than forty to go. Mud and wet all the time. Need sun and warm wind soon. Used up twice the normal straw but keep bedding fresh and clean. Any thing that gives a problem is going to be gone. No more need for a wild cow. Had one walk off and leave the calf this am. Took and hour to get her in and hook the calf. Gave up on the night shift as there is nothing I can do in the dark. Neighbor says that if would be easy everybody would do it. :)
