No really,I am in the heat of the calving battle and we have another friggin nasty snowstorm.
Do real cowboys leave the horse saddled up 24/7, cause our 4 wheelers are going full bore all day, I could not imagine getting on and off a horse 365 times a day, tagging , sorting ,walking,open/close gates etc,etc. Spotlighting all night long,I used to have horses but don't now. How do the real cowboys do it.
The one thing i can say,my 14 and 15 year old daughters are better cowmen then i was at that age. Course we had 40 cows back then not 500 plus.
Pretty sure when college comes they will take 400 cows with them down the road.
It sure is nice knowing we are most likely gonna get paid some good money for doing it. Just hit the third mark this am. Frikkin flakes about knock you out when they hit you.
