Here are a couple pictures from this afternoon of the steers grazing the last paddock of standing corn. They have really done a job on this since the weather turned a bit nicer. We are supposed to have a couple days of cold rain coming up. Here is also a picture of some cows and calves enjoying the sun, even if it is short-lived. Done with the first calving group. A few more of the heifers purchased as bred to go in 30 days or so. The corn pictures are in the same general area as the soil test pictures below. I am not sure why the difference in color between the picutres. On automatic there must be some camera setting that changes as the sun comes and goes behind the puffy white clouds today. Jim at Dawn
