| Well, my 'hometown' is the hometown of the first (and so far only) man in history to be inducted into both the pro football and baseball halls of fame, also a member of college football hall of fame. Several big-name sports figures showed up in our little town for his funeral / memorial service.
One of his son's is still an active gunsmith in town and, I attended K-12 with his grandson, and one of his granddaughters works in the local courthouse.
