SE MT | Coyotes can kill and eat calves. Heres how we keep the coyote numbers thinned down, its kinda cheatin' but if it saves several calves its worth it. Especially if you calve out in open, large pastures. This is an older photo, but we shot 14 dogs in 20 minutes the other day when it is real cold.
