| Do you have any snow to check the tracks? Apparently not. Looks as if you will have snow by tomorrow depending on what part of In. your in. Maybe after the fresh snow it may help you in determining whether or not it was a 4 legged thief. Im wondering about the 2 legged ones....... Is it a woven wire fence or barbed? Does not seem like a coyote could get the calf over a woven wire except at the gate hole. I am sure a pack of coyotes would be able to kill the calf but like you said....seems as tho they would eat it right there. On the other hand...I bet momma was having a hissy fit so maybe they did drag it off...... good luck | |
