Near-north Ontario, French River
Interesting you commented on pesticide restrictions Ray. Canada has recently announced that it will be harmonizing its pesticide residue limits for crops with that of the USA. Been a bit of an uproar, ok more of a mild protest, since it was also noted that the US has HIGHER residue limits. Now the big worry amongst the 'greenies" is that somehow Canada's food supply would be less safe . I know your comments werent directed to the more umm shall we say progessive ,countries so I take no offence but its important to note that in some cases at least requiring similar pesticides restrictions may not limit imports, and it might just limit exports.
