western iowa,by Denison | your missing 1 very important feed-ALFALFA,2# a day would help-5 is better,if you notice more give them some baled alfalfa,your earlage and corn silage would be high in sulfor along with your ddgs,if your silage and earlage is on the dryer side has less chance,also how is your water,I have had brainers with out ddgs,usually shows up when my ration gets to wet from earlage and corn silage so I always include 3-5# of ground hay,and on the one down-vitiamin b shot or thimine,2-3 hours later the calf will be up(maybe) | |
