nw oh | Started feeding this morning and saw a steer stretched out on our outside lot (Mostly under roof w/ an open air concrete lot with it.) Legs straight out and head stretched way back. It was about 800 lbs holstein. There are 160 others in the barn have been in our lot since October. I have not had any dead or sick steers in the group.
Any thoughts to what may have caused this. They are fed corn silage, earlage, shelled corn, mineral, and DDGS. should I be worried about the rest or does SH*T happen. | |
