Well glad I'am not the only one that didn't know what a press was . always called them flakes.

With the feed your giving them now I would think the a makeing 3 pounds a day .at that rate your steers are going to end up 1550-1300 pounds at fair time. I would back off on the steers for a couple of months then push them the last 120 days . I cann't say on ration we don't have most of what you're feeding in our area.

Never seen holstein steers shown . I've fed out a bunch and I don't think you can feed them to much, they spend so much time growing up .

Heifers I would go with a free chioce hay and enough grain to make them think you like'm . About the last 45 days I'd back off the hay and replace it with pellets to help get some gut off and tightn their middle abit .
