Fair is 3rd wk of July. Steer's pen is getting 6 - 5 gal buckets (+/-210#) of show calf mix (corn, oats, cotton seed hulls, DDG+ pellet, mol.) and 3 presses of 132 TDN/22% protien alfalfa/orchardgrass baleage every day and a press of 97 TDN hay every 3rd day. Heifers pen (9 hd) is getting 3- 5 gal buckets (+/-105#) of corn/DDG+ pellet mix and free choice the same baleage. Do I change anything yet or do I keep my foot on the gas? I've had a few locals say I should put the 2 heavier ones on 1/2 beet pulp. I have other hay (94 TDN/12% small sq's)and wheat baleage (120 TDN), would that do the same thing.

Thanks!
