I crossed a Charolais with some old Longhorn/Corriente cows and the Charolais is very dominate. I sold of a group of the weaned calves Monday. They averaged 345 lbs and brought $134 cwt. The calves brought as much as the cow is worth and it's because they were crossed to the Charolais.
I couldn't hardly give away the calves when I use to cross them with a Corriente bull.
