Little River, TX | Back in the good old days, when this country had 30 or so 15 to 35 cow dairies, milk cans and water filled milk coolers.
My Papa would hire me and our hay equipment out to bale their hay. Anything from johnsongrass to alfalfa.
Part of the bargain was I got to drink a quart juice can full of fresh milk, floating in the icy bath water. Every time I was given the opportunity I would get an ice cream headache. Irrigardlessly!
One family fed us a full farmers noon time dinner. That was appreciated also.
