Subject: RE: Oddity ( in the protien market ) is what I'm trying to figure on this. Only expansion I've seen

New Mexico
has been one outfit down here...they added right at 12,000 cows to 1 milk line.
(were milking 9,000....now milking 21k on one location ).

Do know of one expansion build starting up N for 011....it is a 25k cow deal in the Midwest.

Anyway...usda is spinning increased dairy cow numbers ( actually up say 2+ % in 2010 ).
( likely due to sexed semen at corporate level dairies...course every dairy guy says the stuff don't work )

The ONLY way dairy cow slaughter can go up while at the same time milk line numbers go up too...is likely due to sexed semen ie...alot more hiefers in their total herd mix. MO.

Oddity in the protien conversion deal:
USA beef producers are declining the cow herd, yet seem to think prices are great ( when in fact they're selling cattle for about half what everyone else is getting ).

On the dairy side, they been whining and spinning the life is rough spin for a long time now...and are expanding the dairy herd.

Jeez...mention other ideas to the dairy guys and they SLAM everything.
( don't like ANY news or ideas it seems, so it's the typical usa deal of assasinate any and all messengers )
Kind of appears the dairy folks are possibly looking at a liar in their mirror every morning.

Don't know...just trying to REASONABLY figure some things out.
