NEMO | How do you guys regulate your employees and their cell phones? I get sick and tired every time I'm around them their dang cell phones are going off with text messages and various phone calls. Would like to have them leave them in their trucks, but then how do you get ahold of them when putting up hay, choring, feeding, calving,etc.... 2 way radios are an option, but need cell phone when out of range or emergency (911).
Also, how do you keep track of hours? We've been on a honor system, but the recorded 1/2 hour dinner breaks are more like an hour and leaving at 4:40 is always put down as 5:00. Punching a time clock would be nice, except when your done pulling a calf at midnite, their house is 5 minutes away but the time clock is 25 minutes away.
Ready to start the year off on a different foot, but don't want to break my ankle doing it! Any ideas or suggestions? | |
