Been in the same place as you Pofarmer. Just changed my checking account over from a local bank to Farm Credit. Local bank wouldn't even give me a look for land loan. Farm Credit had the deal done in two weeks. Interest rates when I've checked with other banks they've always been 2-3% lower. Good service and love working with them so far.
Not happy with "local" bank.
