Saskatchewan, big whitetail country!!!
When I was a kid, I remember a jersey steer my dad kept to butcher. We named him bobby. Well, I sure remember entering the barn and his head would be way over the fence of one pen, and he'd nuzzle against you. Trouble was he had looonnnng horns, but didn't know it. He was a massive animal, I wish I was older/dad was still here to compare notes on weights. All I know is he was big. Still got the same barn, the same pen, and when I look at it today, knowing where he came up to, dang that was a big critter. Any ways, I was interested to see the name Jersey typed in. Thought they were near a dead breed.
