Rock County, MN | Having run the gamut of blenders for shakes and crushed ice etc. I find the Oster "Bee-Hive" Model: BPCT02-BA bartenders preference to be durable as a rock, I don't recall the cost but am very satisfied. It has a toggle switch with three settings; down is spring loaded' fill the pitcher with ice or ice cream Hold down for two seconds and viola` it's done. The other position is on until you shut off. A variety of blades are available but the standard (come with it) works for everything as far as I'm concerned.
