Did you have some kind of a clause so if they used so stupid bull that threw 130 lbs calves it didn't cost you.
We didn't but we did require references an know the people want live calves. We were dealing on the hundreds of head basis and it helped that the cows were spring calvers not winter calvers like ours. In fact that first year we only pulled 1 calf and it was backwards.
What would you need to charge to custom feed/calve??
