farmdude I don't know your farming operation, but assuming your operation is not a mega-operation do you pay the same price for fertilize, seed and chemicals as someone who plants 10,000 acres of crop. I would think not, also the rule says there are no deals to be made on an individual basis, 5 weights are 5 weights and all are the same price, so tell me where is the incentive to raise and produce better cattle?
I may be wrong and this may be to simplified, but this is the way I understand the issue, and this is why the cattlemen's associations are with the feedyard and stockyards.
