New Mexico | about it before, but perhaps cheaper to clone a live animal than a dead one.
Do know that Scamper the horse from here was ( probably still is ) alive when cloned.
Cannot recall the exact cost but do know it was cheap compared to the Tomahawk Limmy bull clone.
( if one calls under 200k cheap LOL ).
The Limy bull clone was from a deceased bull...cost was approx 550k and was say 5 to 6 years previous to the Scamper deal.
Some of this stuff makes the animals look pretty smart as compared to the people involved perhaps.
Granted some folks have alot of dough which needs spent as they can have a very fine line between what they consider tax vs profit too.
