West Central IL | Becoming more and more common. Before long, many bulls will be cloned if they posed the right traits needed for the show side of things.
Its becoming more political year to year. Many of the exhibitors are not worried about this anyways since they already know they(usually not them) bought an animal that was cloned. Exhibitors are not the ones that need to be taught the lesson but rather the parents putting up the money and the growers selling the animals. Also, all cattle shows should be slick sheered to show the true form of the animal, hair is not the way to win a show if he has no major characteristics to be considered the best but has hair to cover it and make it "look" like he has all the right characteristics. Just my 2 cents. | |
