Sheep Herder - 8/22/2010 13:27 I've got an all steel Titan, 24' long and love it. No rust, and it's 4 years old. Can't see spending the extra money for aluminum. It shouldn't have any rust on it at 4 yrs old. Wait till its 24 yrs old and then report back. Steel trailers are fine but it had better get cleaned out regularly or they turn to a rust bucket in a hurry from the inside out. Whether I would buy a steel or alum trailer would depend a whole lot on what it was to be used for and how frequently it would be used. There is a reason the guys that haul every day of the week buy alums and it isn't because Alum trailers are so dang cheap.
